Tahoe Donner is a large homeowners association located in the Sierra Nevada, off of Highway I-80, in beautiful Truckee, California. Offering a ski resort, golf course & many other amenities and attractions for visitors & residents alike.

The ski area usually opens one to three days after receiving two to three feet of snow. In 2017, USA Today voting panellists ranked Tahoe Donner “Number two for Best Cross Country Ski Resort in the U.S. and Canada.”

Euer Valley provides a plethora of walking trails to meet the needs of different skill levels. The Trout Creek Rec Center offers Olympic & smaller sized pools, hot tubs, showers, locker rooms, retail shopping & a grill with summertime poolside food service called Marco Polo Grill. There is also a fitness center, spa services, snack shop, retail area & golf range, too!

There are more than 60 miles of hiking trails in Tahoe Donner and even a campground for you to set up your tents & make memories.

As if that wasn’t enough – annually, Tahoe Donner offers “Summer Concert on the Green,” which draws lovers of music from all over the world. During the summer there are so many different activities to enjoy. Golf, swimming, tennis, and hiking are only a few of the many activities you will enjoy. Tahoe Donner restaurants offer choices between fine and casual dining to suit any situation. The Tahoe Donner Lodge restaurant food is award-winning & shouldn’t be missed.

In the winter you can fine Alpine and Cross Country skiing, snowboarding, snow showing, snow play, hiking, etc., as well as the opportunity to cuddle up with a cozy fire in your Tahoe Donner home.

Alder Creek Adventure Center (located at the Cross Country area mountain base) offers a great food menu. It is open year-round with patio dining provided. They also offer adventure, of course! As offerings change with the times, it is best to consult with the Center directly before your visit.

Tahoe Donner boasts a lake so clear and clean you can see up to 70 feet underwater, reveals untold natural wonders, and is home to fantastic skiing. Spread out around the lake and up in Truckee are a host of fine-dining standouts. Most are pretty intimate. Several have incredible lake views. All of them will be worth checking out.

Regardless of whether you workout & relax to the soft bird songs and whispering pines at Cross Country Ski Center or hang out with your family for an unforgettable day of chairlift rides at Downhill Ski Resort, skiing at Tahoe Donner is one of our number one favourite ways to play.

Events are for various ages and include ski and snowboard races, a weighted ski patrol sled pull, a luge racing event and more! Participants can sign up on the day of the event. Medal ceremonies follow each event on the ski lodge deck.
